It is very cool when a solar eclipse happens. It's even cooler when it happened on your birthday!!

Although the eclipse can be seen at my birth place, where I am residing now just happens to miss it completely!!!!

Would have been the best present ever...I don't think I'll get another change in my life time for that kind of coincidence to happen again.

Unfortunate it is!

What's wrong with me and Protestants!!!?

For some weird weird reasons I've always attracted Protestants. I have at least 4 encounters with these "devoted" good people approach me in the span of 3 years. The first time was at uni, where the Chinese Protestants Group Rep approach me and try to convert me (currently Catholic) to their little group.

The 2nd time was probably the freakiest of them all! I was sitting on the bus, when an old lady sat beside me. After just a little while she start asking me if I was a Christian, whether I go to Church every weekends, and do I know my Bible off by heart!!? Of course I said I am a "casual believer" and the sister at my high school always told us "...it's stupid to learn the bible off by heart, that won't save you!" Anyway that old lady press on that the sister should be dismiss, that not knowing you bible you will go to hell and all sorts of scary assumptions. Seriously I was dressed properly for work and I dont look any more different then the dozen of others in the same bus! I was never more glad about getting off the bus!!!

3rd was again the Uni people, thank god they didn't remember me. This time they talked about how the bible has the answers to passing your test. Yeah! so does my notes!

And today two Protestants Priests approached me and introduced themselves to me and asked my name!! I didn't say a word, nod, and ran off!

Do I really need converting?????? I am not even sure about I believe in anything, seriously I am Catholic because of my mum. I respect all religions, but in my opinion Asian Protestants are just doing a little too much. In ways that they hardly consider and respect other people's beliefs.

Catherine had been singing "You are 16 going on 17.." for years. And It makes more sense now that she is really 16!
Mum is always here for Catherine's b'day. No..I am not jealous, just that her b'day always feels more like a b'day than everyone else's in the family.
She've got some nice presents...I, again brought her more than 1 present this year! This had gotta stop!! Or she should at least get me more prez for my bday!

Another birthday...and accompany it will be another supplementary exam. But I'm not complaining, gosh I wanna get out of this hell of a course soon.
Meanwhile Catherine is working real hard and what seems really serious studying attitude. She've actually asked for getting tutorial classes...which came to a shock, mum and dad wouldnt believe what they heard lol~

Again, didnt accomplished much this holiday...mostly due to the fact that cat and i watched japanese drama for most part of the holiday. But I did manage to get some illos done.

However for now is study :( ...cant wait till saturday when all is over >_

5th Kyu Grading

Catherine and I had our grading at Macquarie Uni today. I was kinda weird at first because the dojo reminded me of my primary school veranda lol~ Anyway it was fun to see old friends again, Becky, Ricky, Snowman (we forgot his real name...), Gregor, Yu-chan..etc
It was a shock for us to see Alan there too! When Catherine saw him, her reaction was like when she spotted a horrible bugg in her room~

Well everything gone pretty well for grading, other than me suffocating in my own snot during ukemi I think I did pretty well... Properly the only thing bothered me was I cant help but closed my eyes near the end of all shihon nage's move...WHY!? Catherine did alright without knowing the names of the techniques, so that was a relive for her

It was real fun there~! Even Alan is soften up a bit in there. Plus you get to see Gregor fly between people's arms "BANG"! We are considering making more visits to Macq~ Ricky are sure gonna be happy about it LOL~~

Kuro and Point-Nose (Cat refer is as Hikaru) were our fist pets.
We brought them from Fa Yuen Street in Hong Kong.
Since I was studying alone here at Australia, the only update I had of them was from photos. Evertually they were taken back to the store when the rest of the family decided to come back to Aussie land.

That was five years ago...
Recently digging the photos back out, all the emotions overwhelms me. Can't believe I get so attached to fishies that I spend less than 6 months with~

It was my grandma's funeral yesterday at Hong Kong, my sister and I could only farewell her from far away.

This morning when I was slacking around my sister's room I saw this

I laughed and patted my sister for drawing such a cute picture...than my eyes got all watery
I thought I got over it, but these past days hearing mum's voice over the phone and suddenly seeing the smile on that illustration...it just overwhelms me

Mum kicked us out on to the street last thursday after a hell of a traumatizing week...so Cat and I set out to drown our sorrow by window shopping. Of cos, we ended buying stuff...shame!

We set off to Tsim Sha Tsui and went to some of our usual stops, and surprisingly saw the shirt sitting inside!

but the people in the 2 store I went to were obviously annoyed by me wandering around and taking pictures
on top of that Catherine was wearing the same shirt on the day...
We were both greeted by cold stares from the store people...which kinda freaked me out

otherwise it was a great experience!
